Our clients often remark how clean, calm and inviting our Chiropractic Centre is. We have designed our space to be comfortable and make you feel relaxed. You’ll find plenty of convenient parking and bus stops close by.
You’ll be greeted by our front desk staff by name when you enter our chiropractic centre and be given the option of a complimentary refreshment.
You will be given time to gather your thoughts, after which our front desk staff will give you a “new patient form” to complete. This simple to fill out form will just give us an overview of your reasons for your visit, together with a checklist of symptoms (current or past). Plan for 45-60 minutes for your First Visit. We want to take the time we need to fully focus on you.
Once you have completed the form, our chiropractor will show you into the consultation room.
The Consultation
The purpose of our initial consultation is we can get to know each other and determine if we can help.
We Listen
During a conversation and review of your health history, we try to determine if you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care. We’ll ask a few questions and do a lot of listening. This is done to get an overall impression of you and your family’s health challenges and goals.
The Chiropractic Assessment
The consultation helps us to determine if you’re likely to receive chiropractic care. Our thorough assessment might be very different than some other health practitioners you have visited. Our goal is to determine what areas of your spine and nervous system are involved and related to your health challenges. We achieve this by a postural assessment, range of motion evaluations, some neurological tests, leg length analysis and motion/static palpation.
After your consultation and assessment, our chiropractor will give you an indication of whether chiropractic care can be of benefit to you. They will also give you a verbal summery of the initial findings and invite you back for a full report of findings on a date that is suitable for you both. Our Chiropractor will bring you back to the front desk to schedule your Report of Findings and Recommendations appointment.
